Breakfast lessons

Alex and Cyan are making breakfast for everyone on Easter morning. Today was a test run for spelt pancakes and strawberry syrup. YUM!

Cyan got all the ingredients out and made the syrup. She even remembered to mix the corn starch with cold water so it didn't clump in the strawberry mix.

Alex had a bit of a rough start, but when you are dealing with pancakes, it is easy to set the heat on the pan too high. So after two that went in the trash, he made the next sets perfect!

Looks good huh? I think it will be a huge hit with the family for our Easter celebration.
